Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities :
POWER Engineers Inc. Generation Division is seeking a Project Engineer who is responsible for oversight of the Generation projects in one of our offices located: Atlanta, GA; Boise, ID ; Hailey, ID; Overland Park, KS; Mount Laurel, NJ; or Oradell, NJ. Some travel will be required. Our employees currently enjoy a hybrid workplace environment. Our hybrid workplace experience means you will be able to work from the comfort of your home, but are still expected to report to the office up to a few days per week.
Responsibilities include:
Project Engineer on design of Power Generation projects
Managing large Lump Sum Generation Projects
Managing support services as the Project Engineer including scheduling, estimating and procurement for multi-discipline projects
Project Proposal and budget development
Manage all financial and technical aspects of performance for the project
Business Development
Building and Maintaining Client Relationships
Implementation of POWER project engineering processes
Implementation of Quality Control processes
Collaborate with Business Development team and manage business development efforts for projects
Coordination with production departments for projects, projects staffing, and project processes
Required Education/Experience
B.Sc. in Engineering
15 years of Project Engineering experience in Generating Facilities
Experience in geothermal, hydrogen production, carbon capture for power plants, and/or renewables
Experience managing a project team or a department
Experience filling the role of Project Engineer for several projects occurring concurrently
The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to communicate effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
Desired Education/Experience
PE License
