Junior Control Systems Engineer

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:

POWER Engineers, Inc - Facilities Business Unit is currently seeking a Junior Control Systems Engineer to work in our Plover, Wisconsin office. In this role you will work closely with Senior Engineers to drive projects to successful completion within budget and schedule constraints. Seeking an energetic self-starting employee eager to learn and grow with our company. Relocation assistance available.

Required Education/Experience

  • 0-3 years applicable experience

  • 2 or 4 year technical or engineering degree

  • The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel

Desired Education/Experience

  • Experience with PLCs and HMI hardware and software

  • Any programming experience is a plus, Allen Bradley would be great

  • Experience in the design and specification of control system controllers and instrumentation for industrial and/or institutional facilities

  • Experience in the design and specification of low and medium voltage power distribution systems for industrial and/or institutional facilities

  • Network experience for controls systems and Ethernet

  • Some travel required
