Roles and Responsibilities
POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Program Coordinator (PC) to join the Power Delivery group in our Overland Park office. The PC works closely with the Program Managers and teams in the overall coordination of the program. The ideal candidate has an advanced understanding of programs and how they work.
Specific duties will include: assisting with program planning and mobilization activities, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, tracking action items, managing program software system, production activities, document/records management, and assisting with program status reporting. A Program Coordinator must be able to interact with key members of the program team. Decision making skills and the ability to exercise good judgment are required to successfully handle these responsibilities. The individual should be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, have a client service attitude, as well as strong organization, communication, and document coordination skills.
Some travel will be required.
A High School diploma
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
Minimum two years of experience in the construction or electrical utility industry
Experience working in a construction project and project team environment preferred
A degree in business, accounting, construction management or finance and a CAPM, CCC, CCE, EVP or PMP by PMI is preferred but not required
Familiarity with project, construction and document management software (e.g., Documentum, Aconex, ProjectWise) is preferred
