Description
Senior GIS Integration Developer
POWER Engineers is looking for a senior software developer interested in working on innovative next-generation geospatial solutions and integrations to support our clients in the electrical, gas, telco/fiber, and other utility markets worldwide.
The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full time at a location other than a POWER Engineers designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.
Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide technical consulting services for Integration and ArcGIS Enterprise implementations as needed for our projects and programs.
Architect and develop software solutions and integrations for enterprise systems.
Interact directly with clients, including participating in technical workshops as needed.
Capture and document client business process requirements.
Provide high quality (and timely) written and oral communications both internally and with clients.
Participate in strategic business unit initiatives and help to improve business unit processes, procedures, templates, and guidelines.
Participate in business development activities.
Mentor and develop junior-level team members.
Interface with and support Project Managers on proposals, project work, and resource allocations.
Occasional travel may be required.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent degree or a combination of other educational qualifications and experience.
10+ years of experience as a software developer.
10+ years of experience with ArcGIS.
Experience with enterprise systems like ERPs, Customer Information Systems, and Work and Asset management systems.
Proven record of developing solutions with Visual Studio, .NET, C#, Esri, Python.
Experience with data model design in multiple DB environments (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, etc.).
Experience with commercial integration platforms.
Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requires excellent problem-solving skills.
Requires strong time management skills including the ability to multi-task on various projects and priorities under fixed schedules.
Desired Education/Experience:
Electric, gas, telco/fiber, or other utility industry knowledge a plus.
Experience with Safe Software’s FME for ArcGIS or other integration platforms.
Experience with developing ArcGIS Online/Portal services and web applications.
Knowledge of Project Management principals and methodologies.

Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $85K-$120K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
