MID-LEVEL GENERATION ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Generation Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Atlanta, GA; Boise, ID; and Oradell, NJ offices.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and support Electrical Engineer on design of Power Generation projects
Lead and support Electrical Engineer on design of renewable energy projects
Lead and support Electrical Engineer on switchyard electrical system upgrades.
Lead and support Electrical Engineer on facilities and federal electrical system upgrades.
Mentor and teach junior engineers
Project Proposal and Budget development
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Electrical PE License
6-8+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.
5+ years of relay coordination and schematic design
Desired Education/Experience:
Master of Science or MBA
Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus
5+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
5+ years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
