Mechanical Engineering Intern (Power Generation)
Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
POWER Engineers, Inc - is seeking a mechanical engineering student for a summer internship in our Oradell, New Jersey office. Under the guidance of multiple experienced engineers, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of power generation design. The successful canidate will learn how to perform engineering assignments by applying appropriate engineering principles, practices, and theories.
Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited university
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience performing piping stress analysis with CAESAR II software
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
Candidate is interested in consulting engineering industry.
Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills will be critical for successful completion of tasks.
Prior internship and/or related engineering experience is a plus.
Familiarity with design, drafting or engineering software such as AUTOCAD, etc. as well as Microsoft Excel is beneficial.
