Our Facilities Business Unit is growing, and we are seeking an Entry-level Packaging Systems Designer.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assisting in and producing packaging system designs, including:
Developing and delivering packaging CAD and design deliverables withing project budget to POWER and Client CAD standards
Learning about and then helping to develop mass balances, conveyor calculations, and other engineering deliverables
Participating in site visits for data acquisition, meetings, and installation support.
Required Education/Experience
0-2 years of AutoCAD and 2D/3D relevant experience such as Inventor
3D Modeling capabilities in AutoCAD or other 3D software
Ability to travel 10-20% within the United States
Desired Education/Experience
Technical Design Degree or other credentials
1-2 years Revit capability
Ability to display 3D files in Navisworks, Revizto, or similar software
3D modeling ability using scan and point cloud data in a variety of formats
2-4 years 3D CAD design experience
1 year Designer experience in design and layout of Food or Beverage (prefer packaging) systems
Manufacturing or equipment design experience
