POWER Engineers is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Facilities Marketing and Proposal Development team. You may be located in any mutually agreeable location, but we have a preference for Boise, Idaho; Madison, Wisconsin and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In this position, we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, go-getter to drive and coordinate marketing activities for our Facilities team. Our Facilities division serves clients in the food and beverage, agribusiness, industrial manufacturing, and chemical processing industries.

Primary duties include:

  • Coordinate participation in and logistics for client-focused industry events and trade shows; includes pre- and post-event marketing and follow-up

  • Coach and support technical staff on presentation development for industry events (conferences, webinars)

  • Work with technical staff to plan and develop white papers, website content, and other thought leadership efforts

  • Support our corporate communications team with social media content

  • Manage division photo and asset library; coordinate employee headshots and opportunities for on-site project photography

  • In collaboration with department manager and division leadership, help develop and deliver annual division-level marketing plan

  • Develop and update marketing materials such as project summaries, staff resumes, brochures, and other content

  • Coordinate client-focused teams and supporting basic market and/or client research; work with teams to develop account-based marketing strategies focused on client needs

  • Support proposal teams in developing multimedia elements and qualification materials, as workload requires

Excellent writing and communication skills are a must for this position. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, skilled at gathering information from a variety of stakeholders, and able to communicate technical, often complex content in an engaging, accessible way. Time management, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are critical for a candidate’s success in this role.

Candidates must be available to work during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8-5) and be flexible/available to work occasional hours outside this schedule. This position may require some travel to trade shows and events (under 5%). You must be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Desired Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or related field

  • 3+ years experience working in or supporting similar duties

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Previous experience working with engineers, architect, construction companies, or other B2B consulting business (preferred)

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.) (preferred)

  • Experience in layout and/or graphic design (beneficial)

  • Experience with Hubspot, MailChimp, Constant Contact or other email marketing platform (beneficial)
