Governance Administrator
POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Governance Administrator in our Hailey -office location. This position can be a hybrid work from office and home with the flexibility to meet the needs of the team. This person will report directly to the Corporate Governance Manager and will also provide support within the Governance Department. The ideal candidate is experienced, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, professional, intuitive, skilled at time management, and is a good team player. The selected candidate will be expected to maintain confidentiality, prioritize tasks, anticipate needs, possess strong problem-solving skills, and work with established departmental processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
Interact with all levels of the organization and interface with external clients where needed
Assist with the planning and preparation of annual shareholder meetings
Assist with shareholder communication initiatives (written, visual aids, charts/graphs, presentations, etc.)
Provide administrative support with maintaining shareholder records and database by performing detailed transactions with custodial account setup and general stock purchases and sales.
Provide backup support with the planning and preparation for Board of Directors’ meetings as directed
General Administrative support (scheduling travel, entry of expense reports, etc.)
Assist with contract review, renewal, and execution by use of the Easy Vista contract module
Assist with the processing of requisitions and purchase orders in Oracle iProcurement. Submit invoices for payment and have a general understanding of A/P processes
Maintain and update records and files.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional or continuing education opportunities as applicable.
Required Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED
4+ year’s previous administrative experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat (Illustrator or InDesign) with the ability to become familiar with internal company programs and software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Must be polished, flexible, adaptable, tactful, and diplomatic. Must possess professional appearance in person and in virtual environments when representing the company
Exercise discretion and demonstrate the ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Flexibility to adapt to current and future responsibilities, as well as the willingness to expand responsibilities as needed
Desired Education/Experience
Associate degree in Business or relevant field
Advanced certifications/credentials in MS Office, technical writing, or related
Experience with communications (Writing and Design)
Familiarization with graphic design software, creation of presentations, bulletins, or newsletters
Ability to quickly adapt and assimilate in a new work environment by developing effective relationships and networks
Have previous experience/knowledge of engineering, consulting, or related professional services (i.e., utilities, energy, construction, etc.)
