We are seeking a uniquely talented and experienced EcoSys Application Consultant preferably located in Boise, ID to help drive operational excellence in our delivery of program and portfolio management services to our clients. Ideally you will possess experience supporting businesses in the construction and energy industries. This position will offer you an exciting opportunity to solidify POWER’s position with our clients as the program and project delivery partner of choice.

EcoSys is a core application in our Portfolio Management Information Solution (PMIS) we use to help our clients deliver some of the most innovative and important portfolios, programs and projects in the industry. You should possess a genuine interest in helping project driven organizations improve their project planning, management, collaborations, workflow, scheduling, budgets, risk, quality, and document management capabilities through innovative software tools and work processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Functional expert in project management software implementations, with emphasis on integrated cost, schedule and contract management

  • Interface with stakeholders (internal/external) to develop EcoSys configuration requirements

  • Configure and manage EcoSys to meet new portfolio requirements

  • Integration with complimentary software ecosystem, including ERP, BI and document management systems

  • Technical interface with EcoSys/Hexagon and management of licensing

  • EcoSys application training and support to internal and external user groups

  • EcoSys product management and configuration

  • Advising management on industry standards and trends

  • Design and develop EcoSys APIs for Oracle databases and other complex data models

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, MIS or equivalent technology field of study from an accredited university

  • 5+ years of hands-on software implementation experience

  • Highly proficient in EcoSys Portfolio, Project and Contract module configuration and super user administration

  • Analytical thinker who can translate complex business needs into feasible solutions

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Working knowledge of project management in consulting engineering environment, including engineering, construction, project controls, earned value, and project management (Electrical Utility preferred)

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with EcoSys Hexagon configuration and implementation

  • 5+ years of experience with project cost management systems

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and highly self-motivated

  • Keen attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Desired Education/Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on software implementation experience

  • 5+ years implementation and configuration of enterprise-class software

  • Experience in scheduling tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project preferred Prior background in application software development with understand of Python, SQL Server, SQL queries, Java, and other Microsoft tools

  • Solid technology understanding and experience with cloud computing, web portal tools, Prism, Documentum, SharePoint, Oracle, Primavera, ArcGIS by ESRI, ProjectWise, and Power BI

  • Understanding of software implementation methodologies (waterfall, agile, and iterative)

  • Experience implementing enterprise software projects preferred
