Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

POWER Engineers is currently seeking an Office Administrator/Project Coordinatorfor theFreeportLine Department, to support our Power Delivery Division in ourFreeport, Maine office.

The position will be available as soon as May 5, 2020, starting no later than May 25, 2020.Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor accounts for all services that support the Freeport office building

  • Manage the ordering of all building specific materials and supplies.

  • Coordinate multiple annual training events that are hosted in Freeport

  • Manage the office fleet vehicle pool

  • Coordinate office building maintenance and repair work

  • Provides direct or indirect assistance to engineers, managers, and other departmental personnel, as well as general office support

  • Creates/reviews transmittal letters, document control lists, meeting minutes, specifications, reports, etc. using standard templates

  • Assist with engineering tasks as assigned

  • Follows internal and client requested procedures for hard copy and electronic submittals and records

  • Organize, print and/or copyconstruction books, or coordinate with outside vendor to complete this work

  • Enter travel requests, expense reports and purchase requisitions

  • Act as HR liaison for new hire paperwork and onboarding

  • Performs otheroffice and departmentrelated duties as assigned

  • Lead resource planning efforts within the department

Required Education/Experience

  • One (1)+ year applicable experience or relevant degree

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe or Bluebeam

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired Education/Experience

  • Three (3)+ years of relevant experience in engineering support

  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Able to work independently and as a team player

  • Self-starter, reliable, and hardworking

  • Able to take direction from multiple people

  • Interest in learning about the industry and taking on new tasks and software

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Project, and One-Note

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
