Senior Project Manager - Power Delivery

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team.

Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical and financial aspects of Power Delivery projects, managing and developing client relationships, and marketing POWER's Power Delivery services to existing and new clients in the respective region. Other responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Promote company culture and manage internal and external relationships

  • Manage status reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable and unbilled for each project

  • Collaborate with project design teams

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team

  • Develop & maintain schedules, lead/participate in project status meetings with project teams, oversee budgets, participate in proposal preparation, take leading role in client relationships

  • Work primarily with Power Delivery, but may also interface with other POWER divisions, based on the nature of any particular project

  • This position will primarily have local travel to regional clients

  • Demonstrated Project Management skills should include CPM scheduling, budget and cost analysis, managing project teams, as well as proposal writing, client marketing, and project presentations

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university

  • Minimum of 15 years' relevant/applicable industry experience

  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant project management experience

  • PE license or PMP certification is required

  • Relevant experience includes small- to medium-scale project management, and/or project lead engineering experience on projects

  • Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools

  • Proficiency with transmission and distribution systems

  • Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting

  • Experience in project management controls

Desired Education/Experience

  • Familiarity with regional utilities in the respective region
