Training & Organizational Development Intern

POWER Engineers is seeking a personable and highly motivated summer intern to work in its Training & Organizational Development Department.

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop experience working on a wide range of HR and Training projects, gain exposure to a fast-paced and collaborative work environment, and work side-by-side with a team of HR and Training professionals.

  • Design and create graphics for print and web media

  • Update print and web media

  • Assist with writing and editing internal communications

  • Help employees with questions regarding the learning management system – enrollments, transcripts, reports, etc.

  • Update the learning management system with course completions and other data

  • Assist with virtual training sessions in MS Teams, WebEx, and Zoom

  • Help prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents


  • Candidates must have experience with Adobe Suite (Acrobat and InDesign).

  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Candidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
