Senior Protection Engineer

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Protection Engineer to work in our SCADA and Analytical Services (SAS) Group in Boise, ID. As a member of POWER’s SAS team you will act as a subject matter expert in power system protection who engages in projects that will broaden and deepen your engineering skill sets.

THE POSITION

A Senior Protection Engineer at POWER Engineers leads teams of engineers on projects, provides mentoring, supports development of protective relays settings, and performs complex system studies. Additionally, Senior Protection Engineers are expected to learn and champion POWER’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control program, and provide high-level business development support for clients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-Accredited University

  • Seven (7)+ years of industry experience with protective relay applications

  • Registered Professional Engineer
