Project Manager Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage a wide variety of projects and programs for POWER’s utility clients.
• Provide consulting services as needed for our projects.
• Interact with clients (leading workshops as needed).
• Provide high quality (and timely) written and oral communications both internally and with clients.
• Participate in strategic business unit initiatives and help to improve business unit processes, procedures, templates and guidelines.
• Participate in business development activities as needed.
• Mentor and motivate junior-level team members as needed.
• Facilitate and support seamless interaction and cooperation among network of work groups/project teams.
• Interface with and support company Project Managers on proposals, project work, resource allocations and personnel.
• Participate in balancing workloads for team resources.
• Ensure the quality of project / program deliverables.
• Up to 25% travel will be required.
Required Education/Experience:
• 10+ years of GIS-centric experience with a wide variety of IT/OT systems that are typically used in the electric utility industry including GIS, Outage Management, AMI/MDMS, Supervisory Controlled and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Customer Information System (CIS), Distribution Energy Resources (DER), and Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS).
• 10+ years of project / program management experience.
• Requires experience with Microsoft’s office suite, including Outlook, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Requires experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and the Utility Network
• Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Requires excellent problem-solving skills.
• Requires strong time management skills including the ability to multi-task on various projects and priorities under fixed schedules.
• Must be familiar with the work processes of utilities and must have the ability to document processes using Microsoft Visio and/or Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect.
• Must have project implementation lifecycle experience (Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Training, and Deployment).
• Must be familiar with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
• Must have demonstrated success at leading teams and influencing decision-makers to assure achievement of goals and successful adoption of solutions.
Desired Education/Experience:
• Experience with utility operations including Distribution Operations, T&D Design/Maintenance, Engineering, Construction and Operations is desired.
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is desired
• Experience with Schneider Electric’s ArcFM Product Suite
• Experience with Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps
• Experience with cloud (SaaS) strategy, data strategy, business intelligence, managed services, consulting staff management, and technical team management.
• Experience with Organizational Change Management Planning and Process Execution
• Experience with Vendor Negotiations / Contracts
• Experience with Stakeholder Management / Negotiation
• Experience with data modeling to ensure that the electric network model can support ADMS advanced applications like Fault Locate Isolation & Supply Restoration (FLISR), Load Flow, Short Circuit, Load Relief & Load Shedding capabilities and Phase Balancing of the network. Schema Changes for new Features/Subtypes, Attributes & Properties, Business Rules, QA/QC checks and Symbology that provide ADMS the Network Model for Distribution Grid Operations.
• Experience with managing and coordinating the development and testing of edge system integrations and configuration using technologies such as TIBCO, C#.NET, SOAP or RESTful services, JMS Queue’s or Adapters (API’s) for integrations with systems supporting IVR, AMI/MDMS, CIS/CC&B, GPS-AVL, and Outage Notification.

Salary Range: DOE $90,000- $130,000
