OPS - Project Accountant

POWER Engineers, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be primarily responsible for overseeing the functionality of Oracle Project Accounting, including a deep understanding of transactions processing, invoicing clients, and intercompany transactions. The Senior Accountant must have an ability to work with and understand all functional areas within POWER. The Senior Accountant is responsible for evaluating financial information for accuracy.
Deep understanding of the Oracle Project Accounting
Maintain AutoAccounting Rules
Maintain non-billable projects including adding new projects
Run weekly closing processes
Working knowledge of new client setups in Account Receivable
Reconciling General Ledger balances
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant area
5+ years of accounting experience
Understanding of accounting transactions
Ability to do accounting research projects
Knowledge of Oracle functionality
Knowledge of Project Accounting
