POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Services Administrator to work within the Operations IT Infrastructure Department in our Boise, Idaho location.
The Infrastructure ServicesAdministrator position is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, installation of infrastructure services, servers, and virtualization technologies. A strong focus on security and automation. This position requires technical knowledge and hands-on experience with the Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, MS System Center (SCCM), Hyper-V, and VMWare ESX. This position is also responsible for having the ability to advise and cross-train fellow administrators, engineers, and individuals within the Service Desk support organization. Will collaborate with POWER’s IT organizational departments such as Infrastructure Engineering, Application Services, and the Service Desk to implement, support, troubleshoot, and monitor in concert with the infrastructure engineering plans and documented practices.
Ensuring the technologies’ day-to-day maintenance and operational tasks are completed.
Microsoft SCCM, SCOM, and Orchestrator configuration and maintenance.
Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell.
Execute changes to established technologies in a manner that is consistent to the Infrastructure Services Engineering plan and/or guidance.
Security - hotfix and patch deployment in accordance with engineering's test and validation processes.
Security - coordinate remediation efforts for monthly security scans.
Group Policy (GPO) maintenance.
Deploy and install infrastructure services, servers, and virtual workloads.
Monitor and report on technologies and services.
Perform Tier 3 support activities.
5 to 7+ years of combined experience administering and operating global systems\networks including: multi-vendor, multi-protocol LAN/WAN environments.
Advanced experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Experience with system monitoring and automation within global environments.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Experience working with in-sourced and outsourced IT Operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Visio.
Strong knowledge of Linux OS.
Experience maintaining Azure environments and Azure AD.
Experience with ADFS and Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), preferably Cisco DUO.
Advanced analytic, organization, presentation and facilitation skills.
Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree, preferred.
MCSA or equivalent.
CCNA or equivalent.
ITIL v3 Foundations and\or other relevant certifications.
