Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
POWER Engineers, Inc., one of the nation’s strongest energy-related engineering and environmental consultants, is currently seeking a talented English, communications, journalism, or marketing student for a summer internship in our Government Services Division. Under the guidance of our experienced marketing and proposal staff, the successful candidate will be involved in developing content for the www.powereng.com website as well as other marketing materials. This position will include interviewing technical subject matter experts and writing, editing, and proofreading content tailored for our industry and clients. The candidate may also assist marketing staff with data entry into the customer engagement (CE) system.
This position can either be located in Boise, Idaho or remote within the US.
Required Education/Experience
Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, and Marketing, or similar
High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and follow-through
Effective time management
Able to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks based on shifting needs
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills using a variety of media
Experience with standard office software
Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
Desired Education/Experience
- Candidate is interested in marketing/public relations for the A/E industry
