Fleet Program Manager

POWER is hiring a Fleet Program Manager in our Operations Risk Management Department.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop fleet policies and communicate the fleet policies

  • Draft and implement vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance programs

  • Provide On-Time Preventative Maintenance Rate

  • Set guidelines for fleet vehicle purchasing and disposal

  • Set goals and expectations for driver performance

  • Provide budget and cost controls, financial analysis, and operational reports

  • Manage supplier relationships

  • Evaluate driver accidents and safety policies

  • Collect fleet data, measure, and report

  • Create and maintain asset availability and utilization reports

  • Implement and manage digital documents

  • Understand, assess and if needed, implement fleet technology

  • Work with the Fleet Manager to have the right quantities and types of vehicles available at the right location, and at the right time

  • Oversee the non-CDL DOT program, coordinate with HR

  • Analyze data to increase business operational efficiency

  • Develop strong working relationships across the organization (e.g. Assistants, Operations, IT, Finance, HR, etc.)

  • Enroll in continuing education in industry education and advances and consider adoption of credentials

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • 5+ years of Fleet or equivalent business experience

Desired Education/Experience

  • Experience with automation and reporting
