FP&A Analyst

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time FP&A Analyst to work in our Boise, Idaho office. This position will be primarily responsible for monitoring, reporting, gathering and analyzing data. This includes working with Finance and Accounting staff and other members of Operations departments in defining their needs and proposing solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance support for management reports and monthly processing

  • Prepare ad hoc analyses

  • Prepare reports and analyses for various Management and Board meetings

  • Work closely with Operations and Production Divisions to develop new tools and analyses to support their needs

  • Support various corporate functions for reporting and forecast/plan support

  • Work closely with Accounting to provide needed reporting and process improvement

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • Five (5) + years of finance or accounting experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Experience with Business Intelligence applications and analytical tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Education/Experience

  • CPA, MBA and/or FP&A certification

  • Seven (7) + years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience

  • Oracle and Axiom EPM or equivalent system experience

  • Previous experience in a service business

  • Experience with financial system development or implementations

  • Forecasting and financial planning experience
