Power Engineers Facilities Planner in Boise, Idaho
Department:Ops Facilities Group
POWER Engineers is seeking a Facilities Planner to join our Operations/Facilities department and work in our Boise office. This person will be responsible for working directly with the project team members to manage the project scope, schedule, and budget for corporate projects.
Potential projects include opening of a new office location, expanding current facility locations, moving existing facilities, as well as other building maintenance and improvements. This person will participate in the continuous process improvement and overall effectiveness of the department. Travel will be required to complete onsite support for projects, as needed.
3 years relevant experience
Basic understanding of construction process
Ability to effectively communicate with contractors and vendors
Experience with office equipment, furniture, and building fixtures
Strong knowledge of building plans and blueprints
Excellent written communication, interpersonal and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Possess problem solving and decision-making skills
Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision
