Entry Level Mechanical Piping Stress Analysis Engineer

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking Entry Level Mechanical Piping Stress Analysis Engineer's to work in our Generation Mechanical Department in our Boise, ID office.

​Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be involved in supporting the following aspects:

  • Alignment with POWER's Culture

  • Written and Verbal Communication

  • With Technical Guidance from a Senior Level Mechanical Engineer:

  • Contribute to engineering deliverable development such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies

  • Perform routine research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.Collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering work

  • Prepare basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles used in similar engineering analysis

  • Focus on the needs of internal clients (project team leadership) while attempting to gain basic understanding of external client's main interests and drivers

Required Education/Experience:

  • BSME (Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering) degree from an accredited university

  • The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel

Desired Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)

  • Engineer-In-Training registration is preferred
