Corporate Accounting Manager

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Corporate Accounting Manager to join our Ops Accounting Department. This position can be engaged in remotely or utilizing a hybrid work environment within office interaction near one of POWER’s offices with our accounting team leaders.

This position will give exposure to activities focused on overseeing the accountants and activities of the GL team specifically related to closing activities such as company eliminations and consolidations.

Given the nature of this job the right candidate will need:

  • Understanding of complex system transactions

  • Understanding of ERP system

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Flexible work schedule

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Strong accounting basis

General Tasks:

  • Understanding of Dynamics 365 or other similar ERP

  • Supervision of assigned accounting staff

  • Evaluation of the accuracy of financial close

  • Review of assigned account reconciliations

  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting

  • Preparation of year-end financials

  • External financial audit support

  • Other accounting duties as assigned

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in accounting

  • 6+ years accounting experience covering broad range of accounting areas as well as management

  • In depth understanding of accounting transactions and reconciliations

  • Ability to produce financial accounting reports/ schedules

  • Ability to perform accounting research projects

Preferred Education/ Experience:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA

  • Experience in consolidations and eliminations

  • Experience in Dynamics 365

Salary Range: $85-$100K DOE. This position is also eligible for our annual bonus.
