Description

ArcGIS and Integration DeveloperRoles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consulting services for ArcGIS Enterprise implementations as needed for our projects and programs

  • Develop software solutions and integrations for ArcGIS implementations with other enterprise systems

  • Interact with utility clients (participating in technical workshops as needed)

  • Provide high-quality and timely written and oral communications both internally and with clients

  • Participate in strategic business unit initiatives and help to improve business unit processes, procedures, templates, and guidelines

  • Participate in business development activities as needed

  • Mentor and motivate junior-level team members as needed

  • Interface with and support company Project Managers on proposals, project work, resource allocations, and personnel as needed

  • Occasional travel may be required

Required Education/Experience

  • Electric utility domain knowledge

  • 5 years of experience as a software developer

  • 3 years of experience with ArcGIS

  • Experience with Visual Studio, .NET, C#, Python, and JavaScript

  • Experience with SQL Server T/SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong time management skills including the ability to multi-task on various projects and priorities under fixed schedules

Desired Education/Experience

  • Experience with commercial integration platforms

  • Experience with Safe Software’s FME for ArcGIS integration platform

  • Experience with enterprise systems like ERP, CIS, and asset management

  • Experience with other integration platforms

  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro development

  • Experience with developing ArcGIS Portal services and web applications

  • Familiar with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)

  • Experience with Microsoft’s Azure DevOps and Git repositories
