Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

At POWER Engineers our Applied Technology team solves complex problems through innovative solutions. As an intern for Applied Technology you will have the opportunity to explore many different technologies including augmented and virtual reality, drones, reality capture and 3D modeling. Attention to detail, communication with team members, and documentation skills are needed. The ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to new situations is highly valued, as is the ability to interact with other project team members. We do not expect interns to possess all of the skills and qualifications listed below, but this is the basis for a strong foundation to support an internship in Applied Technology.


  • Build AR/VR experiences in Unreal 4

  • Explore 360 degree video techniques

  • Research and explore new technologies

  • Participate in design reviews with other developers while giving and taking constructive feedback

  • Be flexible and willing to learn both independently and collaboratively

Required Education/Experience

  • Junior status or greater in the pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Virtual Technology & Design, Architecture, Graphic Design, or a related program

  • Candidate should have a strong foundation in 3D graphic concepts and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Unreal Game engine development

  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills will be critical for successful completion of tasks

  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
